Effective November 6, 2007

ID Required

ALL Michigan voters will be required to either present a picture identification or sign an affidavit if they do not have a picture identification with them to obtain a ballot.

This was enacted by the State Legislature in 1996, however was not enforced. The Michigan Supreme Court ruled on July 18, 2007 that it was constitutional and enforceable.

Early in-Person Voting

Early Voting Dates for the November 2024

General Election are Saturday, October 26, 2024 thru Sunday, November 3, 2024.  There is NO “in person” voting on Monday, November 4, 2024. 

The location for Early Voting for Almira Township for all Federal and State election dates will be 7272 Ole White Drive, Lake Ann, MI  49650.  The hours will be from 8:00am to 4:00pm each of the 9 (nine) days.
